Contemplations – Book of Proverbs 4

A father’s instruction – “gives you a garland to grace your head”. Realize that it emanates from a loving heart, a wise mind that has traveled the rugged path of truth and change to bear witness to glory after having persevered through life’s harsh blows.

    Pay attention and gain understanding.

We must cherish sound learning at all costs; the understanding of that knowledge refrains us from falling into that repetitive cycle of insanity. Knowledge affords us the power to rise upward faithfully. Information is vital, and reading is fun-da-mental.

The beginning of wisdom is this: get wisdom.
Though it cost all you have, get understanding

Put differently, wisdom is the successful mastering of newly acquired principles through appropriate application in one’s personal life. Humans may know and understand something of value but rarely capitalize on those treasures. I, myself, am a victim of this.

“Fear is the evidence of ignorance” – Dr. Munroe.

Nonetheless, it doesn’t stop me from making an effort to take heed of these instructions. Having the astuteness to use new information appropriately, wisdom surely ensues.

Above all else, guard your heart,
For everything you do flows from it

Bringing these ideas to the center of our conscious thought is what creates a peaceful and prosperous life. We must meditate on His Word day and night, for the Word has the power to renew your mind.

Embrace the positivity in your life, for it will be multiplied. A pure mindset will call forth a pure life. Remain bold in this teaching, for His Boulder is indelibly unshaken in Christ Jesus. Amen.
