“When it comes to prayer, no desire is too big or small for Our Father”

https://infirmierishimwe.com/2021/03/08/empowering-your-prayers/Throughout this reflective plan, it dawned on us “why is it that our prayers, during hard times, are typically more profound than in good times. It almost seems as if we treat our Creator as a genie.
We sometimes forget that He freely giveth and taketh away. Henceforth, if a crisis comes your way, understand that it has not come to you because you did something wrong, but it has rather come to refine you and guide you toward the path that fulfills Our Father’s purpose for your life.
In this episode, we will examine what I consider, based on life lessons gained along the way, to be essential ingredients of an empowering prayer.
Prayer is personal
For instance, picture a friend or acquaintance who only talks to you when they need something from you. How does it make you feel? Do you value such a relationship? Does what the other person brings forth build you up?
The same applies to Our Eternal Father.
James’ reflective accounts remind us that “Do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us?” A relationship is as good as what is in it. For us to embody a harmonious state of mind; a mind-set that will attract revolutionary changes in our lives, we must tend to our prayer relationship.
This concept profoundly spoke to me, because it showed me that Our father has a heart. When we ignore Him, it hurts Him. He can feel just like how we can, and far beyond. We were created in His likeness. He is the true, integrated personification of innate abilities that we are born.
He is pure love, wisdom, compassion, character, potential – The Great I AM.
When asking, be specific
This idea encapsulates the previously mentioned quote – “no desire is too big or small when it comes to prayer”.
If you remain in me in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples – John 15, 7
Having this knowledge enlightens a sense of trust and clarity on how beneficial such a partnership can be. Take, for instance, a husband fully aware of what his wife brings to the table, will above and beyond to show his appreciation. This union consequently becomes synergized – whatever they do prospers.
Prayer is just one of the many ways we can show our appreciation to our Creator by reacclimating to the light of His presence. It does not need to be fancy or long for it to be effective, only a pure heart and noble intentions.
Shun all self-doubt out of the window
This is an indispensable part of effective prayer. Doubt creates a sequence of negative circumstances that sway us away from our faith. We only need a presence of faith to bear witness to life-changing miracles in our lives.
But when you ask, you must BELIEVE and NOT DOUBT, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord – James 1:6-7
Simply put, one cannot afford to be directed by the currents of life’s unpredictability. Doing so would only perpetuate your personal agony. Our duality often refrains us from truly experiencing bliss by promptly giving up when it could be that we were so close.
