Reflections

Maintaining a steady relationship with our Creator in our modern era presents plenty of challenges. Nonetheless, it is a responsibility we must abide by for the sake of our spiritual and temporal welfare. More importantly, it enables us to aspire for a life of fellowship that aligns us with the divine purpose set before us.
They say that “with great power comes great responsibility,” and like the magnificent creatures we were created to be, we must exhume the greatness buried inside us. In this blog, I dive deep into four keys that have allowed me to naturally embrace such higher power and graciously step into the unknown.
Rekindle your relationship with the Vine
A valuable principle to kickstart this adventure is to accept Yahusha as your Lord and Savior, more so on emulating His walk. “He is the way, the truth, and the life.”
Entrusting in his Government reaps a multitude of rewards and benefits, but that can only begin by becoming knowledgeable of the keys of the kingdom. Bliss henceforth becomes attained by applying that knowledge in your walk.
A path of deliverance ensues once you surrender to this truth because, deep down, you understand that this is all bigger than you – “He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake” (Psalms 23:4).
Allowing the Holy Spirit to direct your path validates this divine protection because you are representing the Kingdom. A vital concept to remember is that while you upgrade to this new way of thought, it does not mean you are immune to trials and tribulations. Those obstacles, however, come to mold you into the reason for your existence – to shine light and radiate the love within you.
The universe operates on a principle of laws
There lie many benefits to upholding the Law.
Paul’s testimonial account reminds us that “no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law, we become conscious of our sin” (Romans 3:29). This verse is packed with valuable information. The mindful understanding of our defective duality enables one — to eminently change the principles that govern his life.
At that moment, one understands that the modus operandi of this world functions on universal laws, just like a fish thrives in water or a human on oxygen. Consequently, one must learn, understand, and apply those laws to embody a state of peace and prosperity.
There is a hierarchical order within creation and investing your effort in acquiring that knowledge transcends one from the realm of ignorance.
Faith in Action
“Walking by faith” – comforts one in resting assured because he understands that there is a higher power at work, a firm and unchanging force that directs that the order of the universe.
Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but an obligation
However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies
The ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness
Romans 4:4-5
Our eyes can sometimes be deceiving. For this reason, it is imminent to cling to one’s strong belief system, for such an attitude can guide one through life’s seasonal waves.
The power of the tongue
Goes without saying that word is bond. Words carry a mighty power. More often than not, this great gift of utterance we have been given we stain it by uttering curses on others or complaining of our shortcomings while failing to recognize other blessings in our lives.
The Book of James enabled me to start appreciating the simple things in life. More importantly, it inspired me to utter positivity in the world and to use my innate abilities to build others up. Exhuming such gratitude is liberating in every sense of the word.
Happy Living!
