Inspired by the wise words of Solomon: a poem

You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth — Solomon
“Coloor, Coloor” –
The gentle innocent soul uttered
Like he knew what lay in his armor
So lovely; effortlessly, he roamed
Painting the blank canvas
Unfazed by the ruckus
Of this brute world
I stand in awe at the reward
Blameless soul
That lies in you
Little child – you bring so much color
To my fountain of youth
Keep being light as you carry
Your crown of life
Bewildered student
I stay present in
The moment
For I learn a great deal
From how you move with no bent
To ephemeral external thrills
Thank you
For reminding me
That the power
That lies in my innermost being
Far outweighs outward
Elements
Thank you all for reading, and I sincerely hope all is well.
